Aug. 17—The Nisei Week former queens' reunion luncheon will be held at the Japanese American National Museum starting at 11:30 a.m.; luncheon will be at noon. Once again, we have the generosity of the JANM and Dr. Fred Kurata to thank for hosting our affair. The reunion luncheons have been such a great tradition which helps us stay in touch and enrich the bonds we have created with eadch other over the years. Our multi-generational group has shared plenty of stories and every year we get to add someone new to our sorority. And it is alway a pleasure to meet the new queen and court who visit us during our luncheon. Aug. 23— The Norwalk Dance Club's "Hawaiian Social" will be held on Aug. 23, from 7 to 10:45 pm at the Southeast Japanese School and Community Center, 14615 Gridley Rd., Norwalk. The cost for the dance is $8 for members and $10 for non-members.
