A funeral service for Masako Tanihara, 96-year-old, Fresno, Calif.-born Nisei and resident of Gardena,
who passed away on Nov. 15, 2019 in Torrance, will be held on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Gardena Buddhist Church, 1517 W. 166th Street, Gardena.
She is survived by her son, Steven (Irene) Tanihara; daughter Marilyn (Gordon) Yamasaki; brothers,
Katsuto (Ruth) and Bob (Judy) Nakano; grandson, Craig (Stefanie) Yamasaki; great-grandchildren,
Capri and Andrew Yamasaki; and other relatives.
