The San Fernando Valley Hongwanji Buddhist Temple Obon took place this past July 4th weekend. The two-day annual event drew hundreds of visitors to the temple to remember and to celebrate. During the two day event there were games, foods, cultural demonstrations, arts and crafts and of course the Obon Odori where young and old come together and dance to the sounds of the oldies.
