With the rhythmic poundings of taiko drums still reverberating in the air, the abundance of delicious food stilling flavoring taste buds, and the unusually cool summer weather still blessing Southern California, it’s safe to say that 2010 has been a fantastic obon season. There were the hosts of eager dancers swaying and moving around church parking lots and surrounding streets. The classic games and carnival-like atmosphere bringing smiles and laughter. The fresh produce and piping hot dango watering mouths.
