Funeral services for Thomas Hiromu Yamate, who passed away on Sept. 4 in Pomona, Calif., will be held on Monday, Sept. 14, from 11 a.m. at the Rainbow Chapel, Rose Hills Memorial Park and Mortuary, Whittier. Viewing/visitation will take place on Sunday, Sept. 13, from 5 – 8 p.m. The deceased is survived by sister, Kaname Tashima; sons, Thomas Jr., Richard, Robert; and daughter, Carol.
