Funeral services for the late Mrs. Martha Masae Hashimoto, 64-year-old Pepeekeo, Hilo, Hawaii-born Sansei resident of Los Angeles who passed away on Jan. 4, 2012, will be held on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012, 2 p.m. at Fukui Mortuary “Chapel in the Garden,” 707 E. Temple St., Los Angeles, CA 90012, officiated by Bishop Taisen Miyata of Koyasan Buddhist Temple.
Predeceased by her sister-in-law, Mieko Kimoto of Hawaii. Mrs. Hashimoto is survived by her husband, Melvin Kazuto Hashimoto; children, Terry Mutsue, Stuart Masato (Gabriela) and Lynn Kazue (Brian Roberts) Hashimoto of Washington; grandchildren, Shayna Ame Garcia, Anthony Kazuto and Mateo Masato Hashimoto, and Peyton Masae Roberts of Washington; siblings, Royden Kimoto of Hawaii, Rodney and Stanley Kimoto; son-in-law, Patrick Garcia. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
