Hisaye Maeno, 74, of Oxnard, Calif., passed away on Jan. 2, 2010. She graduated from Santa Maria Union High School in 1954. She is survived by her brothers, Shigehiko Maeno of Oxnard and Dr. Jim Maeno of Sunnyvale; sisters, Margaret Maeno and Alice Maeno, both of Los Angeles; and other relatives. A private family memorial service was held in Los Angeles and she was laid to rest in Santa Maria, Calif.
