Funeral service for the late Koshi Matsumoto, born 1915 in Hollywood, a 95-year-old Kibei-Nisei resident of Gardena and a former Manzanar Relocation Camp internee who passed away peacefully at home on July 19, 2011, will be held on Saturday, July 30, 10 a.m. at Sozenji Buddhist Temple, 3020 W. Beverly Blvd., Montebello, CA 90640. The family respectfully requests that flowers be omitted.
Predeceased by his loving wife, Kimiko and his daughter Elaine Keiko Matsumoto. Beloved father of Donald Toshiaki (Mary) and Evelyn Sachiko Matsumoto; brother of Katsuo Matsumoto of Illinois and Eiko (Tadashi) Okura of Nevada. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
