Hisae Uno, beloved mother and grandmother, who spent the majority of her years in Oakland, Calif., passed away peacefully after a brief illness. Born in Stockton, Calif., wife of the late Sadayuki Uno and mother of the late Irene Kasumi Uno and Eugene Sadayoshi Uno, she is survived by the eldest of her three children, daughter Patricia Miyuki Takanashi; granddaughter Kelly Kiku Takanashi; grandsons Timothy Katsuyuki Takanashi, Jason Sadaomi Uno, Michael Yoshiomi Uno; and daughter-in-law Kayoko (Yamamoto) Uno. A private funeral with family and close family friends was held on Saturday, April 21, at the Chapel in the Garden of Fukui Mortuary in Los Angeles.
