Funeral service for Ernest Takashi Mashiyama, 85-year-old Hilo, Hawaii-born resident of Long Beach who passed away on July 8, 2012 at his residence, will be held on Sunday, July 22 at 11:30 a.m. at Koyasan Buddhist Temple, 342 E. First St., Los Angeles.
He is survived by his wife, Sumiko T. Mashiyama; daughters, Ann Nobuko Mashiyama Harris and Susan Takami Mashiyama; son, Grey; brother, Hiroshi Mashiyama of Hawaii; many nieces, nephews and other relatives here and in Hawaii and Japan.
