Robert Kay Iwaoka, 66, of San Clemente and Dana Point passed away July 21, 2012.
He was born in Detroit, Mich., Aug. 31, 1946 to Masako Molly Iwaoka and Kenichi Kay Iwaoka. Robert graduated from Costa Mesa High School and later received his baccalaureate science degree in microbiology from California State University, Long Beach.
He was a 30-plus-year employee of Pacific Mutual /Pacific Life, Newport Beach.
He was survived by his brother, Ken Ray Iwaoka.
