Mitsuko “Mitzi” Kohatsu (85) passed away on June 5, 2013. Predeceased by her brothers Yok and George Kohatsu. She is survived by her siblings, Aiko and Tak (Marge) Kohatsu; sister-in-law, Gladys Kohatsu; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A Celebration of Life Banquet for the late “Mitzi” Kohatsu, a Brawley, California-born Nisei former internee of Poston Relocation Camp during WWII, will be held Saturday, July 20, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at NBC Seafood Restaurant, 404-A S. Altantic Blvd., Monterey Park, CA 91754. Casual attire please.
