The second Halloween Odori/Ondo Costume Party will be held on Saturday, Oct. 26, at Centenary United Methodist Church, 300 S. Central Ave. (at Third Street) in Little Tokyo.
The event starts off at 4 p.m. with a costume parade, trick-or-treating and Halloween games with prizes for all ages, followed by the first public odori/ondo dance session at 5 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend in costumes, traditional Japanese clothing, or as you are.
The costume parade, trick-or-treating and games will be repeated at 6 and 7:30 p.m. and the dancing at 6:30 and 8 p.m. The event ends at 9 p.m.
Free snacks and finger foods. Dinner can be purchased from the Lomo Arigato food truck (Japanese-Peruvian fusion cuisine). Enjoy an evening of culture, community and fun.
