ambassador visitJapanese Ambassador to the U.S. Kenichiro Sasae on Dec. 15 laid a wreath at the Go For Broke Monument in Little Tokyo, which is dedicated to the Nisei soldiers who served during World War II in the 100th Infantry Battalion, 442nd Regimental Combat Team, and Military Intelligence Service. Afterwards, the ambassador and his wife joined in a group photo with veterans, GFBNEC board members, and other dignitaries.
