SAN FRANCISCO — A man was shot in the hand on the night of Dec. 1 in Japantown, The S.F. Examiner reports.

The 30-year-old victim had just left a restaurant when he was accosted by two men near Post and Buchanan streets around 10:10 p.m., according to the SFPD.

The victim may have tried to right back, and one of the suspects fired three gunshots at him, police said. A friend drove the victim, whose injury was not life-threatening, to a hospital.

The suspects were described only as men in their 20s wearing dark clothing. They fled the scene in a silver sedan, according to witnesses.
