Hideko Noda, age 78, born in Gunma-Ken, Japan, resident of Glendora, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014. She is survived by beloved husband, Kenichi Noda; children, John and Bill (Donna) Noda; grandchildren, Lauren and Kayla Noda; sister, Aya Akimoto; nephew, Arthur Takuma (Louise) Akimoto; niece, Crystal Yoshimi Akimoto; and other relatives here and in Japan.
Public funeral services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 22, from 12:00 noon at Mission Valley Free Methodist Church, 1201 S. San Gabriel Blvd., San Gabriel, with Rev. Yutaka Tanabe officiating.
