Hideo “Harry” Tahara, the son of Mitsuo and Shizue Tahara, passed away on March 26, 2014 at the age of 76. He was born on April 21, 1937 in California and had been a longtime resident of Monterey Park. Hideo is survived by his loving wife, Akiko Tahara; children, Lisa (James) Ortiz and Gary Tahara; and grandson, Elijah Ortiz. He is preceded in death by his son, Glen Tahara. Services are private.
