She is survived by her sister, Aiko (Shuichi) Ito; nephew, Michael Ito of Virginia; niece, Motomi Handa; grandniece, Kazuko (Michael) Namba; grandnephew, Todd (Hilda) Handa; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
