Asians and Pacific Islanders with Disabilities of California is a non-profit organization whose mission is to raise the visibility of Asians with developmental, mental and physical disabilities. The Leadership Institute is aimed at developing young Asians with different types of disabilities to become leaders and advocates for Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders with disabilities.

Throughout the years, APIDC has sponsored statewide conferences bringing together consumers, parent organizations, service agencies, educators, and elected officials to improve services for Asians with disabilities. APIDC is hosting its first fundraiser this Oct. 25, honoring former Transportation Secretary Norman Mineta.
