She is survived by her husband, Kazuo Shinzato; children, Vicki (Dr. Paul) Shinto, Miles (Leti) Yokota, Robin (Mark) Wittenberg of San Diego, John (Helery) Shinzato of San Ramon, Calif.; siblings, Erni (Jun) Arai of Honolulu, Hawaii and Steven (Leslie) Kodama of Berkeley, Calif.; grandchildren, Lauren (Dr. Ziad) Dahdul, Todd and Hunter Shinto, Brett, Michelle, Jennifer Yokota, Tyler and Ryan Wittenberg, both of San Diego, and Kendall Shinzato of San Ramon; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
