The Los Angeles Dodgers, in conjunction with the Nisei Week Foundation, will host this year’s Japanese American Community Night on Wednesday, July 30.

The evening’s game against the Atlanta Braves begins at 7:10 p.m., with pre-game festivities starting at around 6:30 p.m. Festivities will include a performance from the Japan Pom Pom Girls, introduction of the 2014 Nisei Week queen and court, along with other community representatives. The national anthem will be performed by 2011 Nisei Week Queen Erika Mariko Olsen.

The event is an opportunity to show pride in Japanese heritage, as well as to enjoy America’s favorite past time.

Discount tickets can be purchased online at www.dodgers.com/japan or by calling group sales at (323) 224-1421. Any person or groups purchasing 30 or more tickets will receive a mini Hello Kitty bobblehead doll, but the tickets must be purchased through group sales and not online.
