The Japanese American Bar Association (JABA) hosts a legal clinic on Saturday, Aug. 30, at Little Tokyo Service Center, 231 E. Third St., Los Angeles.
Registration time is between 1 and 3 p.m. Attendees in need of legal assistance will have the opportunity to meet with volunteer attorneys for free brief consultations.
Translators will be available to assist Japanese-speaking attendees. Attorneys typically have expertise in areas such as family law, immigration, consumer rights, landlord/tenant, estate planning, and contract disputes.
