Funeral services for the late Minoru Honda, 83-year-old, McFarland, Calif.-born resident of Long Beach who passed away on July 23, 2014 at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, will be held on Saturday, Aug. 2, 11 a.m. at Long Beach Buddhist Church, 2360 Santa Fe Ave., Long Beach, Calif.
He is survived by his wife, Michiko Honda; daughters, Patricia Yumiko (Albert) Ornelas, Karen Ai (Jack) Stanton; four grandchildren; brothers, Fred Honda and Setsuo Honda of Japan; sisters, Chieko Ingham and Kazuko Takemori of Japan; also many nieces, nephews and other relatives here and in Japan.
