David Shinjo leads dancers at the Nikkei Widowed Association’s 35th annual Christmas luncheon on Dec. 13 at the Quiet Cannon Restaurant in Montebello. The organization, which started in 1979 to cater to the special needs of Nisei widows and widowers, disbanded after 35 years.
