Funeral services for the late Tomoko Nishimura, 85-year-old, Los Angeles-born resident of Chino Hills who passed away on January 19, 2015 at Alhambra Hospital Medical Center, were held on Saturday, February 7, at Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple.
She is survived by her son, Gary Shigeo (Mika) Nishimura; brothers, James Mitsuru and Fred Kiyoshi (Yuriko) Tanaka; nephews, Masayuki and Dr. Thomas Jin (Dianne) Tanaka; nieces, Doris Junko Tanaka, Elaine Rieko (Steve) Jackson, Karen Risa (Tom) Uyematsu; also many nieces, nephews and other relatives here and in Japan.
