Feb. 3, 1942 – March 12, 2015
Byron E. Kurokawa, 73, passed away in Santa Cruz, Calif. He was born in Los Angeles and spent most of his adult life in the Mendocino (Elk) area, and Santa Cruz, where he worked as a registered nurse at Dominican Hospital.
He is survived by his wife Gloria; daughter Amber Lasciak; son Ty (Laura); grandchildren Ethan, Kaimana, Meleana and Taizo; brother John; and sisters Yoko and Taeko; and many other relatives and loving friends.
A warm and mellow memorial was held on Saturday, March 21, at his home in Santa Cruz.
