HUNTINGTON BEACH — The Sister City Association of Huntington Beach will present the Japanese Cultural Festival on Sunday, March 22, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Huntington Beach Central Park, 7111 Talbert Ave., Huntington Beach.

The event will feature Japanese food, music, dance, crafts and games.

Entertainment will include Daiko Taiko and Kokoro Taiko Kai, Japanese classical dance by Bando Hidesomi, kabuki dance by Nakamura Gankyo, a karate demonstration by Master Fumio Demura, koto by Ryan Kaneko, hula by Lokelani’s and Japanese music by Minyo Station.

Proceeds will benefit the Huntington Beach-Anjo Sister City Student Exchange Program.

The festival will be held behind the Central Library at the outdoor bandstand stage. The library entrance is on Talbert off Goldenwest Street. Go to the back parking lot and walk down the path to the festival site.
