A funeral service for James Yoshio Morita, 95-year-old, Glendale, Calif.-born Nisei, WWII veteran, who passed away on April 3, 2015 in Torrance, will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the Chapel of Green Hills Memorial Park, 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes, with Rev. John Iwohara from Gardena Buddhist Church officiating.

He is survived by his wife, Fusako Morita; children, Ann (Michael) Shima and Barry (Diane) Morita; grandchildren, Scott Shima, Christopher, Kira and Ariel Morita; sisters-in-law, Hatsumi Morita, Mitzi Okazaki, and Eileen Takemoto; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
