The final net assets of JAHSSC came out to $7,793.26, as well as a bag of paper cups, cookies, tea bags and sugar cubes from the group’s last program “Japanese American Gardeners: Their Stories Through Senryu.” Okamura thanked JAHSSC for entrusting their assets with LTHS and vowed to continue their legacy through programs to educate about the Japanese American experience.
