Private funeral services for Mrs. Sara Shizuko Sadakane, 96-year-old Lewiston, Utah-born Nisei and a resident of Santa Ana who passed away peacefully on June 7, were held on Saturday, June 27, at Orange County Buddhist Church.
Sara who is predeceased by her loving husband, Mamoru Sadakane; son, Gary Sadakane, and grandson, Andrew Murase, is survived by her loving family: sons, Daryl, Alan and John (Ann) Sadakane, all of Orange County; grandson, David Sadakane of Orange County; sisters, Mary Tokonami of Japan and Aiko Asato of Northern California; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
