TORRANCE — With the election less than a month away, the League of Women Voters will hold a 66th Assembly District candidates’ forum on Wednesday, Oct. 12, at the Torrance Cultural Arts Center’s Toyota Hall, 3330 Civic Center Dr. in Torrance.
Following opening remarks at 7 p.m., Water Replenishment District Board candidates will speak from 7:05 to 7:40 p.m.
The candidates for the 66th Assembly District, Republican incumbent David Hadley and his Democratic challenger, former Assemblymember Al Muratsuchi, will speak from 7:45 to 8:20 p.m., followed by closing remarks.
The district includes Torrance, Gardena, Lomita, the Palos Verdes Peninsula, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, and portions of Los Angeles.
The video will be broadcast at 2:30 and 10:30 p.m. on TCtv, Channel 28 Spectrum and Channel 36 Frontier.
The forum is co-hosted by LWV Torrance Area, LWV Beach Cities and LWV Palos Verdes Peninsula.
