A private graveside service for Kazue Okamoto, 93-year-old, Monterey, CA-born Nisei, who passed away on January 13, 2017 in Torrance, was held at Green Hills Memorial Park.
She is survived by her children, Joyce (Harvey) Yoshino, Joanne (Wilfred) Nakata, Jim (Lorna Akemi) Okamoto; grandchildren, Taeko (James) Buck of IL, Christine (Scott) Toy, Scott Yoshino, Grant (Jo) Nakata, Toni and Elyse Okamoto; great-grandchildren, Mayumi and Max Buck of IL, Tyler Toy; siblings, William (Asayo) Takigawa and Susan (Frank) Morimoto; sister-in-law, Kachan Maruyama; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
