A private funeral service for Frances Ritsuko Yanase, 86-year-old, Hawaii-born Nisei, who passed away on Feb. 5, 2020 in Los Angeles, was held on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2020 at Zenshuji Soto Mission.

She was predeceased by her husband, Tomoichi Yanase; and is survived by her children, Sandra (Robert) Ota, Margaret (Kyle) Uemura, and Robert (Michelle) Yanase; seven grandchildren; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives here and in Japan.
