Charleen Michiko Nerio Meisenheimer

Mrs. Charleen Michiko Nerio Meisenheimer, a loving wife, mother, sister, and daughter, passed away on August 20, 2020, in her home surrounded by family.

Charleen is survived by her mother Margaret; her siblings Elaine and Michael; her three children, James, Jack, and Jillian; and husband. Charleen was born on September 9, 1963, in Garden Grove, Calif., to Dick and Margaret Nerio. Charleen graduated early from Chapman University in 1985 with a degree in Economics and Finance. After graduation, she would later work for several companies doing financial analysis and auditing.

Charleen married Gregory Meisenheimer on January 20, 1990. Charleen would later raise three children; James (24), Jack (21), and Jillian (19). Charleen was a loving mother and a devoted friend. Charleen always had a smile during her countless hours volunteering at Girl Scouts, Millburn Football Booster Events, Millburn and HKIS Volleyball, HKIS World’s Fair, and numerous other events.

She lived in Huntington Beach, Calif., Short Hills, N.J., and Hong Kong S.A.R.

Charleen had a love of travel. Charleen visited the majority of countries in Asia and many other countries throughout the world.

A private funeral was held and attended by her immediate family. She is interred at Westminster Memorial Park, next to her father.

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic the family hopes to have a public memorial at a later date.
