He is survived by his wife, Sheri Nakano; children, Liane (Anthony) Daye, Dana Nakano, and Blaire (Bobby) Burkitt; grandsons, Tyson and Dominic Daye, and Robert “Tre” and Nicholas Burkitt; mother, Etsuko Nakano; siblings, Arleen Miya, David (Lori), Patsy, and Mark (Julie) Nakano; he is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
