George K. Horibe (aka Uncle Kiyope), age 84, born in Calexico, Calif., passed away on Oct. 18, 2012 in Murrieta, Calif.
He is survived by his seven children: Michael, Timothy (Sri), Paul (Terri), William (Leslie), Monica (Ron), Larry and Georgiana (Hideo), former wife/caregiver Margaret, eleven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two sisters, and many other relatives.
His smile, laughter and kindness will be greatly missed by all those who knew him. We love you Daddy.
A funeral service will be held on Oct. 25, 2012 at Halverson, Stone & Myers in Old Torrance at 6 p.m.
