Mrs. Ikuye Haratani, 87, Los Angeles-born Nisei, long-time resident of Anaheim and recent resident of Lake Elsinore, passed away peacefully at home in the company of family and friends on Nov. 3.
She is survived by her loving son, Kirk H. (Jennifer) Haratani; grandchildren, Randi and Jacob; sisters, Sachiye Ota and Toshiye (Satoru) Tokubo; many nephews and nieces and countless friends.
Funeral service will be held on Sunday, Nov. 18, at 2 p.m. at Orange County Buddhist Church, 909 S. Dale Ave., Anaheim. The family requests casual attire.
