Kenichi Nakashioya - Rafu Shimpo

Private funeral services for the late Kenichi Nakashioya, 96-year-old, California-born resident of Rosemead, who passed away peacefully on Nov. 29, 2017, were held on Sunday, Dec. 17, at Fukui Mortuary with Rimban William Briones from Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Kazuko; daughters, Nancy (Edd) Hayashibara, Judy (Paul) Isozaki; son, Howard (Suzanne) Nakashioya; grandchildren, Ryan and Jamie Hayashibara, Leslie (Tri) Hoang, Erin (Joseph Bracamontes), Derek (Veronica), and Tara Isozaki, Jeffery, Kristen and Alex Nakashioya; 5 great-grandchildren; and brother, Tsutomu (Shizuko) Nakashioya. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives in California and Japan.
