A graveside service was held on Friday Aug. 28 at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes for Mitsuro Ohara, a 79-year-old resident of Gardena who passed away at home on Sunday afternoon Aug. 23 of lung cancer.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Ohara; daughter, Phyllis (Alan) Aoyama;and granddaughter, Kelly Aoyama; and son, John Ohara, M.D. Also, brother, Seiichiro (Meriko) Ohara of Kagoshima; Japan, brother-in-law, Ken (Pat) Muraoka; sisters-in-law, Lilian Ohara, Kay (John) Fujikawa and Eiko Muraoka; also by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
