On Saturday, August 9, Nikkei authors Naomi Hirahara and Kerry Yo Nakagawa will talk about and sign their books at a special event at Kinokuniya Bookstore in Little Tokyo.
Hirahara will be reading from her latest book, Murder on Bamboo Lane, the first in a new mystery series that will follow mixed-race bicycle cop Ellie Rush in her patrols of downtown LA. Nakagawa will be discussing his nonfiction book, Japanese American Baseball in California: a History.
