Funeral service for the late Rev. Sadako Takeda, 88-year-old, Tottori, Japan-born resident of Gardena who passed away peacefully at her residence on Sept. 27, will be held on Saturday, Oct. 8, 11 a.m. at Konko Church of Gardena, 15722 S. Normandie Ave., Gardena, 90247.
Rev. Sadako Takeda was an ordained minister of Konko Churches of North America since 1992.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Kimiye (Hirosuke) Seki, Makiye (Patrick) Arakawa and Tomiye (Randy) Akagi of Oregon; sons, Masanori (Dolores) and Yoshinori (Diane) Takeda; eleven (11) grandchildren; six (6) great-grandchildren; also nieces, nephews and other relatives.
