Funeral service for the late Mr. Robert T. Tomita, 86-year-old, Isleton, Calif.-born Nisei veteran and long-time resident of Gardena who passed away on October 13, will be held on Saturday, Oct. 20, 1 p.m. at Gedatsu Church of America, 7850 Hill Drive, South San Gabriel, 91770. Family requests no flowers please.
He is survived by his loving family: wife, Dorothy Tomita; children, Janice, Adrienne, Gary Tomita and Pauline (Alaric) Akashi; grandchildren, Avalon and James Akashi; brother, John (Misao) Tomita; sisters, Tomiko and Aiko Tomita; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
