Sachiko Matsumura

Sachiko Matsumura passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family Tuesday evening May 18, 2021. At the age of 99 she joins the love of her life, her husband Paul; and is survived by her four boys, Brian, Wayne (Terry), Scott (Linda), Cary; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She will be remembered as the sweet petite lady that greeted everyone with a smile and kindness and would always want to do for others long before she did anything for herself. She will be greatly missed along with her beef stroganoff, tamale pie, fried chicken, numerous baked goods and the occasional liver hidden under a pile of onions.

As were her wishes, there will be no service. Memorial donations may be made to the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California, 1840 Sutter St., San Francisco, California, 94115.
