Sayoko Rose Nishida - Rafu Shimpo

Private graveside services for the late Sayoko Rose Nishida, 94-year-old, California-born, resident of Northridge, who passed away on June 9, 2021, were held on Monday, June 21, at Evergreen Cemetery in Los Angeles.

She was predeceased by her husband, Minoru Nishida, son, Ronald Nishida; two brothers, William and James Yasuda; and brother-in-law, Masao Ota.

She is survived by her son, Gary (Pam) Nishida; grandchildren, Michael and Kristi Nishida; brothers, Henry (Helen) Yasuda and Bill (Kazuko) Yasuda; sister, Betty (Ken) Murata; sisters-in-law, Kazuko (William) Yasuda, Momo (James) Yasuda, Atsuko (Masao) Ota. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives in the U.S. and Japan.
