Funeral service for the late Sekiko “Ruby” Miyamoto Kawasaki, 81-year-
old, San Diego-born, resident of Monterey Park, who passed away on
Aug.17, will be held on Saturday, Aug. 28, 11 a.m. at Zenshuji Soto
Mission, 123 S. Hewitt St., Los Angeles 90012. A visitation will be
held one hour prior to the service at 10 a.m.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Toshio Kawasaki; children,
Lillian (Craig Carter) Kawasaki, Glenn Kawasaki of Seattle, WA and
Nancy Kawasaki of Chicago, IL; brother, Arthur Ichiro (Hisako)
Miyamoto; sister, Toshiko (Jack) Tanner; she is also survived by
nieces, nephews and other relatives.
