A private ceremony will be held in Washington for our beloved Nancy Toshiko Mye, née Masumoto, who passed away on Sunday morning, Sept. 25, 2011. Nancy was born in San Francisco, Calif., on Feb. 28, 1941 and grew up in Los Angeles, and she resided in Yelm, Wash., since 1990. Nancy is survived by her loving family, her husband of 51 years, Dr. George Lai Mye Jr.; sons, George Lai Mye III, Michael Mye, and Geoffrey (Han) Mye; grandsons, Brendon and Brennon Mye; brothers, Earnest (Marie) Masumoto, Ronald (Elizabeth) Masumoto; niece, Tiffanie (Greg) Randall; nephew, Erik Masumoto; and many other loved ones. Nancy is predeceased by her loving parents, Teruko and Jack Masumoto; younger sister, Cecilia Masumoto; and aunt, Mary Kimura.
