Ko Shimizu, age 82, passed away on April 4. Beloved father of Christine Shimizu of Virginia and Jo Ann Shimizu Wood; grandfather of Danika Chiyeko, Dylan Graham and Daryn Yukiko Wood; also survived by two nieces, one nephew, and other relatives here and in Japan.
He is predeceased by his daughter, Doreen Shimizu; brothers, Yutaka (Tabo) and Shigetoshi Shimizu.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2 p.m. at Fukui Mortuary “Chapel in the Garden,” 707 E. Temple St., Los Angeles.
