Misao Okino
September 9, 1924 – April 15, 2021
Misao Okino, Los Angeles-born resident of Torrance, passed away peacefully on April 15 at the age of 96. She is survived by her loving family: daughter, Cheryl (Alan) Masukawa; sons, David (Linda) and Jon (Angela) Okino; grandchildren, Darren and Kristin Okino, Eric (Kaela) Masukawa; great-grandson, Grayson Masukawa; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A private family funeral and interment service was held on April 30 at Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, with Rimban William Briones officiating.
