The annual A Time for Sharing Christmas Boutique, held Dec. 9 at the Elks Lodge in Gardena, was well-attended as shoppers searched for unique gifts with a Japanese or Japanese American flair.
Too Cute Designs features T-shirts and stamps with such motifs as sushi, ramen, tofu, mochi, taiko, and dim sum.
Dichroic glass jewelry designer Yoko Matsubayashi (right), pictured with Mitsuko Fukunaga, was recently featured in Rafu’s “Krafty Korner” column.
Back Home in Lahaina offered Hawaiian cookies and cuisine.
