A live community viewing of an episode of ABC’s “Fresh Off the Boat” with an LGBTQ theme will be held on Tuesday, March 31, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Japanese American National Museum, 100 N. Central Ave. in Little Tokyo.
In the episode, titled “Blind Spot,” Jessica (Constance Wu) is visited by her college boyfriend, Oscar Chow. She’s a bit miffed that Louis (Randall Park) isn’t a little more jealous — but she‘s got a blind spot and is completely oblivious to the fact that Oscar is gay. Meanwhile, Eddie (Hudson Yang) goes to great lengths to get out of the school science fair.
The panelists will be:
- Nahnatchka Khan, FOTB showrunner and executive producer;
- Rex Lee, who plays Oscar Chow in “Blind Spot”;
- D’Lo, author and comedian;
- Erin O’Brien, artist and organizer;
- Curtis Chin (moderator), director of such films as “Vincent Who?” and “Tested.”
